I purchased a Torqstorm supercharger which i already have mounted. Since they only sell TUNER kits I purchased a intercooler from Mishimoto 31x12x3. I measured the space just below the hood latch but it’s still a bit tight and I would have to make modifications to the latch arm. I don’t want to cut the front crash bar. Has anymore mounted a intercooler on their Challenger if so please share your setup.

No this is the first size intercooler that supports 550 to 750HP, the next step down is only good up to 450 HP.

Sorry this is the first intercooler M

I think that’s because you have a liquid to air intercooler instead of an air to air.
Yea ik mines liquid to air just letting you know that those dimensions fit. Air to air is gonna be thicker like yours is.

-you can get a new system water to air and guarantee will fit and will going to have a pump and added cost.
-cut the crush bar and re-enforce it if you can weld. i already cut into my car when i installed the after market speaker so i won't hesitate to do it (that;s just me)
-find a local welder that can tig weld aluminum and have him trim the intercooler

So is that intercooler too thick to fit behind the crash bar?

Yes unfortunately, because this supercharger comes with spacers to push the radiator one inch forward I lose what would normally fit.

So I took off the crash bar by drilling out the spot welds on the top and bottom and unbolting it. I’ve decided to get a one inch plate to extended the crash bar outwards, I made a template out of cardboard. There’s plenty of room before it makes contact with the bumper. I will need longer bolts but I think this is the best option.

Got a piece of 3/4 inch aluminum drilled out holes using my template as a guide and it turned out great. Pushed out the crash bar far enough that the intercooler now fits great!!

cheap kit ok but, too modifications and reflexion !!!!
except the price, a lot of negative point i find
bracket, false model, modifications to do, belt too small impossible to put,....................
spacer of AC compresseur too small, the belt touch always the ac compressor........
all is in option, like the coolant tank 350dollars !!!!!!!!!!!
so, artisanal solution lol
the compressor noise is acute, a little unpleasant
me, hellcat injector, walbro 525 fuel pump
not enough tune, soon !!!! i hope a great result

sorry for bad english, i'm french 😊

Install wasn’t too bad. Had to cut a small bit of metal on the passenger and driver side to run the 3 inch piping. I shortened up the neck on the windshield washer tank and used a silicone couple to make up the space. The intercooler is from mishimoto the piping is from amazon. The piping thickness was 2 MM. I used a hacksaw to make the cuts. I had to purchase a 135 degree elbow for the outlet of the supercharger and trim it down for everything flow perfectly.

Haven’t started the car yet. Just finished the install. Replaced both radiator hoses have to buy new coolant. Not able to get a dyno tune until December. Just purchased a wide band gauge and boost gauge. Have you run your car on a dyno?
