I noticed a rhythmic noise coming from driver's side rear that would come and go. Finally, noise would not go away. I checked under car and noticed boot was off coming from rear and grease and metal chips all over the place. Took it to dealer and they are going to replace the axle. Have to wait until Monday for part to arrive.[/SIZE]

Something else to keep an eye on!

Glad you saw it before it completely failed.

At what speed did you notice the noise?

Glad they are going to warranty it for you. I replace a lot of CV shafts on vehicles, the ones whose boots get torn open fail quickly once all the grease has slung out. The remainder (seems to be chronic on Honda's) make the famous clicking noise on turns. Please let us know what they say on how the boot failed on your car.
