Hey all, I just got a new 19 sxt. I traded in a 2 year old sxt and my old system went with it. In it I used an Audio control lc6i connected to speedwire from the dash spliced into wires cut behind the head unit. Because Im wanting to do something different in this one, I want to make sure it will work. Here is my build.
Infinity Kappa 90csx component 6x9's up front. Tweeter in the dash. Powered by a Rockford Fosgate P300x2.
I will be running new speaker wire to both of these from the amp.
Rockford Fosgate 12inch P3 in the trunk. Powered by a Rockford Fosgate R500x1D.
Rear Deck speakers will remain stock and powered by the stock head unit. Just used for filler.
Now my question. Since I will be using the stock signal to power the rear speakers, can I tap into those signals to power the Audio Control lc2i? This will hopefully prevent me from having to cut any wires behind the head unit and save a bunch of time as well. Can it be done?
