A while back I posted my feedback on doing a resonator delete on my 392 http://www.challengertalk.com/forums/f170/review-magnaflow-19206-axle-back-aka-expensive-resonator-delete-406394/

I quite liked the sound I got & was happy with it for the last few years. However, as of late I suppose I've grown accustomed to it & was looking for something a little different sounding than everyother SRT out there. So I swung by the local muffler shop and had them throw in some Flowmaster Super 44s. Only had it for a day so experience is limited, but my initial impression is that the sound level didn't change at all, only the note.

I feel the flowmasters have the original "muscle car" sound to them and by comparison the stock mufflers, which are essentially a mangnaflow style construction, are more boat like...if that makes any sense. IDK just my 2 cents. I'm still framing my opinion on which I like better, but both are quite good. I will say that the flowmasters don't hit you in the cab quite as much, where by the note of the stock ones sort of resonates more. So it almost gives the flowmasters less of a droney feeling, for those of you who don't like that kind of thing.

Anyhow, here's the video, interested in seeing people's thoughts and hopefully it helps those of you who are considering something different.

As an FYI the 44s are flowmasters second from the loudest street muffler; super 10s being the final step.

I liked the sound of the stock mufflers over the Flowmasters.
