Formula E racing is very cool. The wave of the future. The Velocity channel used to run a show on Saturday mornings at 6am every week highlighting the past week's race and drivers, etc. The class has been around for a few years now. Lots of interesting features in the cars and races. You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_E . It's electrifying (sorry, couldn't resist).

I find racing electric cars really interesting because it would be a totally different mindset from what we're used to. With gas motors you're always trying to get more air for more combustion and more power, that doesn't work for an electric motor. Hotrodding and modding will be totally different!

Formula E, officially the FIA Formula E Championship, is a class of auto racing that uses only electric-powered cars. The series was conceived in 2012, and the inaugural championship started in Beijing on 13 September 2014.

They are cool... https://www.youtube.com/user/FIAFormulaE

Being an avid F1 fan, had to check out the "E" racing a few times. A bit too quiet for my taste but at least you don't have to bring ear plugs for the kids :) Hilarious to me how the pit stops are jumping into another freshly charged car.
