I've always said, it's your car, do what makes you happy. If you're really concerned about originality, order a spare set from Dodge and put them away in a cool, dry place for safekeeping.
New IE owner and need some opinions!
Hello all. I am the proud new owner of #669 DWB. I set out to get an a black non IE and it was taking for ever. I went to Huntsville AL and they had at least about 10 of these IEs (including #s 43 and 44 that they're trying to get Richard petty to sign) anyways long story short I thought the IE would be a little more special to buy. I love the blue But I never really been a big fan of stripes so I'm thinking about taking them off. I got it, it's part of the package but they're vinyl and could always be put back on. I need opinions fellas

i wouldnt do it, but its your car.....if you take them off id also recommend buying a new set and storing them....odds are anyone who will be buying your car in the future will want them....its part of the unique IE package
I think the stripes add to the detail of the car. They compliment the interior very well. The car will look great without the stripes too but a little plain for my tastes. I say try to find some pics of people that have done the stripe delete and then make your decision.

392pusher - what are the last six of your VIN #? The car I had ordered from Landers in Huntsville was 500990. Just seeing if you have the car with my name on the sticker. You just got the car, so why not wait a couple months and see if they grow on you?
If they don't, I agree with with ordering an extra set now and also waiting to see pics from someone who jumps in ahead of you. By the way, I think I counted 20 separate pieces of vinyl on mine (if I remember correctly) so, reapplying on an old finish won't be cheap n easy. But that would be your future buyer's issue...

Hemi420-- 501008 but I'm pretty sure yours was there. They had like 5 DWBs and 5 white ones. Everything but the black I was looking for. I checked out the site man pretty dope. I go to bham and huntsville quite often. Let me know if your going to challengerfest and we'll catch up.
