You just got the car, so why not wait a couple months and see if they grow on you?
If they don't, I agree with with ordering an extra set now and also waiting to see pics from someone who jumps in ahead of you. By the way, I think I counted 20 separate pieces of vinyl on mine (if I remember correctly) so, reapplying on an old finish won't be cheap n easy. But that would be your future buyer's issue...
