well guys and gals, i just finished installing my new magnaflow competition series exhaust and i must say....... holy crap!!! such a nice deep sound on idle and at wide open throttle it loud and deep, extremely happy with this exhaust..... cant wait till she is fully broken in to see if it get louder :thumbsup:

Congrats! I've got a Magnaflow and I love it. You MAY experience slight drone at around 1500 - 1800 RPMs for a short while as it "breaks in." After, there won't be any. I haven't noticed mine getting louder over time (been on since Dec), but its definitely "smoother" if that makes any sense - like deep growl that quickly evolves into a ferocious roar as you accelerate - its like the volume increases/decreases more smoothly than at first. Great systems - quad tips are awesome and love the look under the car as well. Enjoy!

Exactly the way mine is now too! MikesHemi, did you have any fit issues? Took a while to get mine on due to fitment issues. Congrats, you'll love it!

Have had the Magnaflow on mine since 2009...it was the best upgrade I did!! A guy who heard it said "Now the car sounds, how it looks".

Have the same system for almost 2 yrs now. I think it does get a little louder over time. Improves HP too. Sounds awesome with a 6SPD when down shifting.
i had a little issue with fitting kev, but nothing a few deep breaths and some creative thinking couldn't fix lol. went to go and put gas in her tonight and as i pulled up everyone just looked at me....., which soon preceded with "man that things sounds great" to "god....how much HP does that beast have" lol. now im trying to think about the what to do for the next mod....maybe suspension upgrade..... :browsmiley:
