Going to give these a try. 275/45/20.
1" taller than the 245 crap Goodyears.
I will give up the info after testing

Just curious. Why didn't you buy a 275/40-20 tire, instead? It has virtually the same diameter of a 245/45-20 tire. The taller 275/45-20 tire will throw your speedometer off by 3.57% (e.g., read a slower 59.92 mph instead of 62.14 mph).

With a little more side wall. More side wall helps in the wheel hop issue and looks way cooler filling up the fender gap. if by chance these are crap, they won't last long anyway!
Also speedo not going to be an issue after tuner.

Also the 45 will mount wider than the 40. Not by much but we need all we can get and the sides will not be rolled over as much

Lol, you all are killing me, ok ok. I use this brand on all my vehicles. On my cts's, my boys Honda, and my wife's Caravan. My 04 cts eats tires like crazy has sknce new. So I thought if I have to replace every 20k miles per set, I'm not going to pay $200 + a tire. So been using these for the last few sets and get 40k+ on them. So the brand is Milestar. They have ms932 sport that is a 40k mile tire and ms932 xp. The xp is the uhp. Never used the xp before so if they have more grip than hhe sports which they should I will be a happy camper. They are only w speed rated though.

Ok new tires on the rear. Milestar ms932 xp. 275/45/20. First impressions are good. It's cold and wet /damp here. 37 deg. Ride seems better, they are quiet, look ok and GPS to speedo sees same speed but will know more tonight on way to work. No clue on grip yet. Stock 245 are 9.5" give or take tread width, these are 10. 5" give or take

Ok drove to work last evening. Speedo is off about 1.5 mph. I can live with that until the tuner is here. Weather has been bad, snow ice and highs in mid 30's. So grip isn't the best on the dirty salted roads and cold but I tell ya 1000% better. Ride is nice, handling is predictable. I did go out and try some 0-60 today. Again in the mid 30's and dirty roads but we did do a 5.1 loosing traction in 1st and 2nd but had enough traction to do that so over all pleased. On a clean surface and warm Temps I feel 4.7 is obtainable. We will see. That 5.1was off line normal then standing in it. The Goodyears would of just went up but the Goodyears perform bad at this temp probably different story with warm terms and clean road.

Here is an update on the milestar 932xp 275x45x20. In the rain they grip better than the crap Goodyear f1 in the dry! It's getting warmer here, in the 60's and low 70's, grip from a roll is extremely good 1000 times better than crap Goodyears. Lower air to 26-28, a couple dry hops, they hook pretty well unless you launch super hard but 0-60 is 4.6 constantly. So I would say ya for me, love these. Of course they aren't close to a drag radial but for the money, not bad.

Just curious if the OP has any updates regarding these. How did they do over the summer? How is the wear?

Thanks.
