Hay Guys I am kinda New to the Challenger as I have been Old School mopar all my life till now . Own a 69 Road Runner Pro Street .
So anyway I got a Killer deal on a set of 305-30ZR20 Nitto NT555G2's
You think they will be to short ? I want to get wider wheels for he rear but hate to put a real short tire on then hav it look weird ?
Anyone running 30 on there car ?
Sorry for all the Q's but you guys have been there done that so best to ask. Never to old to learn !!
I want a Pro street look .
I would like to fill the rear wheel well with the Big Meat look. So should I get a 315/35 ? Or is there a better size to fit in there ? I already am running a 3:91 gear with a 6 speed so gearing is no issue .
The stock sizes are 245/45 or 275/40, so the 315/35 is the size that is the same height. With the correct offset wider wheel, most have no/little clearance issues. Those that do have issues can usually correct with some massaging of the plastic inner fender.
Like I stated before, I ran a 315/35/20 on a 20x10.5 with + 22 offset with no rubbing in the rear. You can run a 20x11 also in the rear with the correct offset.
