Hello,

Just picked up my 2013 R/T today and the first thing I did was to research the radio. I stumbled upon the Lockpick thing, and was wondering if that allowed the radio to play DVD's or did I need something addition(like a DVD player)...Guess my question is, do our radios have the ability to read DVD's stock? sorry if this was a stupid question, but the more I looked into things, the more confused I got.

Get a lockpick, you can watch videos, key in nav locations, and everything else while in motion...great for trips with the wife...and you can add a rear camera setup as well.

Ok. So all I would need is the lockpick? Would I need any external video source like a DVD player or is our radio capable of playing them.

Assuming you have a 430 or 730 N radio, you're set...has a built in DVD player.

I bought a NAVTV Allgig XG FT from a board member here last week and it is literally plug and play. Works good. The instructions are completely convoluted - I just disconnected my radio, installed the wiring and plugged it back in and it works. No drama or hysteria.
