Congrats and enjoy! IMO, vortech is the best route to go to supercharge a Challenger. Great combo with the low end torque!

Mr Cobb,do you have any other work done to the engine, like pistons or anything?
Nope, no internal changes.

JBA shorty headers, catless mids and Blastin Bob's glass packs are the only changes to the power plant.

The engine is now right at 40K miles. I figure rings and pistons are good and broken in by now. The most boost I've seen is 8lbs a couple times on two of the colder mornings. Most times boost tops out at 7lbs. I think that's still safe for the R/T with stock internals.

If you're thinking of maybe going with a Vortch, I say do it! Puts a smile on my face every time. :)

Vortech

Just finished mine also. Runs like its ass is on fire. Make me smile just thinking of going for a drive..

Russ, looks great! How did you find the install? Any problems? Mine went pretty smooth... :)
