So last week I noticed I was losing coolant, I did and pressure check, and it help pressure but I saw there was cooling running down the lower radiator hose wher eit attaches to the pump.
So I ordered a hose and put it on, vacuum and pressure tested, it seemed fine, and then refilled.
cut to this morning, I smell coolant, and it is not visable that it looks to be coming from the water pump gasket/timing cover mating surface.
A quick check comes up with part number 53022340AC for the pump, but it is discontinued, but available form the aftermarket.
what is the consensus on
1.Just doing gasket?
2. Aftermarket pump?
3. Pump from later model (the 2015 up pump is way way more expensive and will it work?)
is there a superseding part number?
