I've been reading through many of the posts here and thought I'd start a thread that would pull into one subject everyone's thoughts on "essential" mods, if you were gonna make one or two mods what would they be. Look forward to hearing your comments....

Are you looking for performance mods, or cosmetic items? What's your budget?

Not sure what you have (SE,RT,SRT or year) The mod that made the most power was my predator tune and the most usefull was my lockpick and backup camera.

I read the tuner boxes dont work on 2011 cars yet.

Id do cat back and cold air intake.

Theres a thread here with pictures showing the stock manifolds for these cars, getting rid of them would have to give at least 20 more horsepower, they look like crap.

Here is the thread... a must to replace IMHO

thanks, keep 'em coming

2011 RT Plus, Manual 6 sp, w/ Super Trak Pac

Thanks for all the replies....

As for what type of mods....I'm interested in what people thought made the biggest impact, whether that be performance or appearance. Here's some I considered

Skip Shift Eliminator
Functional Hood Scoops
Cold Air Intake
Splash Guards

The exhausts and performance tune are interesting, what kinda results do the produce?

Icon has an 11 RT 6 speed and got a SOLO exhaust last month, you might talk to him. The 11 has a new controller so I don't know if Diablo Sport has that predator or trenity out yet but I'm sure they will sone if they don't yet. CAI's don't add that much power but the Mopar one sure looks and sounds good.

Just go to you tube and start looking at dyno sheets for challengers.

I see 6-8 rear wheel horse power for the tuner boxes, really, thats it. And seen 11 or so horse with just a cold air kit.
Manifolds and catless pipes are around 25 rear wheel.

The 5.7 makes ok hp, but needs a turbo or nitrous to be fun.

Definitely some splash guards, these goodyears kick up rocks pretty bad.
Mine too has super track pack, 6 speed with leather and HID's
2 weeks and only 130 miles:icon_evil: rearend was falling out!!!
