Just replaced my stock goodyear 245s with nitto 555Rs 275/40-20. The problem is they are absolutely NO wider than the stickers. So next time on going with at least 295s even though they aren't supposed to go on 9 inch wide rims

What I'm saying is. My stock tires were 245s. And I'm supposed to be able to go 30 mm wider than that on my 9 inch rims right? But the nitto are the exact same width as my goodyear 245 RSAs.
I feel the way nitto rates the width must be different than the way goodyear does. So a nitto 305 would be equal to a good year RSA in 275.

Forget those tire charts everyone refers too. It depends on Brand/Model of tire.
Nittos Run Small. That's why many running Nitto 315s in rears have no rubbing issues. Vreds run small too.
Bridgestone runs the biggest. Their 315s are like 335s compared to Nitto.

Yes
Thank you. That's what I thought. Next time I'm going the next size up. Which happen to be 305s. I expect those to be equal to everyone else's 275s. Or I'll get some brigstones lol
