Hello All,

Was out in the garage with a cold adult beverage last night admiring my new WB Scat when I noticed something.

My 2019 R/T Scat WB does not have a "HEMI" badge or script anywhere.

Not on the hood, the front, the rear, the interior or the motor.

I am not complaining, just making an observation.

I realize the 392 is not a true hemi, but they have always touted the "HEMI" name.

Anyone wish to speculate?

There are a lot of Hemi badges on E-Bay. I would buy a few for your Scat Pack.

Except for the Scat Pack Shaker, the SP never even said 392 much less HEMI. The original cars had 6.4L badges on the side so not sure what's the deal.

The SRT with the 392 had 392 HEMI coil covers, the Scat said Powered by SRT and why, I do not know.

hellcats do not have the actual name "hellcat" anywhere on the car, as it leaves the factory.
dodge is weird that way. I guess if you know, then you know. if you dont, then you wont..lol

That’s one nice looking Dodge you’ve got, Varooom. I’ve always been a bit envious of the 392 Bee you have on your Challenger. My SRT 392 doesn’t deserve one.

The bumblebee emblem is unique to the Scat Pack model. I guess Dodge wanted it to have something different than the standard Hemi badge.

I have a 2014 SRT Core model and it came with the large 392 stickers on the fenders. I however always liked the old hood call outs on the original bulge hoods so I added a set of 392 Hemi emblems to my hood. I got the modern shaker 392 emblems and they fit and look pretty much perfect to me on my hood. I like the idea of having a hemi emblem somewhere on my car so like others have suggested I'd do a little shopping around for what type of emblem you want and add it to your car, it will no doubt look great and make the car a little more distinctive.

Yeah, it just has the 'Bumble bee's' on the sides. Now it does say 'Shaker' under the passenger air conditioning vent on far right.
I kinda like the bee, its on the seats also. as long as they are not in the 'Air-cleaner' . LOL

Truth be told, my RT came with the hemi badge on the hood and it is actually a pain when it comes to clay barring/waxing. I am tempted to strip them off along with the RT logo I added in the back....even tempted of taking off the classic "challenger" badge on the side fenders.

I have always associated the Hemi badge with the R/T 5.7. I think the most Hemi-spheric cylinder engine by FCA is the 3.6 Pentastar anyway. I do like the different Bee badges on the SP and 1320. That's a cool way to distinguish models and I think they should expand that for the 6.4's. I don't think the T/A has one, does it? Edit: The T/A has the "392" badge and of course the very cool graphic T/A striping.

Today isn't it just assumed any v8 mopar vehicle is a Hemi? Those that know will know with or without badges. I removed my scatpack badge because it gets in the way of waxing. I just have a red R/T badge on the grill

The 6.4l is a Hemi. If you look at the Apache cylinder heads, they have the typical rounded chamber with two large valves across from each other. The pistons do not protrude into the heads like some past Hemi designs, but wasn't needed due to the amount of compression Dodge got with a flat top piston.

I debadged my Javelin when I built it and the only badges I added are actually Hemi ones. It keeps everyone guessing since there are no other badges anywhere on the car and even the Hemi badges don't indicate size. The Javelin runs a truck 5.7 and I do have that badge on the dash and under the hood. When I only see a Hemi badge on a Challenger I assume it is a 5.7. If there are no badges then it is probably a 6 banger or just debadged. My 2019 widebody gets mistaken for a Hellcat even though it still has its Scat Pack badges. The wife saw a car a few days ago with both the Scat Pack and Hellcat badges. Not really possible since they have different motors.

I love the widebody, I tried to order one and was told they were no longer able to order one as I wanted it built. So I ended up saving 15 grand and buying a 2016 scat.
Will wait for 2020 models to come out and think about a trade in.
