Hello all, This is my first post here and I recently bought a 2017 Challenger SXT Plus with the 3.6 V6. Can someone tell me if Mopar oil filter MO-349 is the correct filter? The book they had at Walmart shows this number for 2016 but blank for 2017. Thanks!

Welcome to Challengertalk Jake. I don't believe anything has changed with the 3.6L, so I feel safe to say, yes, that's the right filter

Yes,

It's the 349. I've been buying mine online not even knowing they sold these things at Walmart. :headbang:

The easiest oil filter change you will ever do. :wink3:

Welcome Jake! Coming here is a good idea if (and you obviously do even though we haven't seen her yet but would LIKE to) you have a Challenger. Lots of advice and ideas for future mods... Good luck and greetings from Hellinois.

Loosen the oil cap up all the way and just let it sit there before you drain the oil. When you do that, it let's more oil out of the oil canister/cooler housing.
