I have a 2012 Chal SRT8 with the EVIC. I'd like to install an electrical oil pressure and voltmeter in a pillar pod. Can I just use the existing sender for the oil pressure, or would I need to install a "T"?

The pressure sender is electric - no oil lines involved.

You may also be aware that the EVIC has Oil PSI and Oil Temp displays as well.

Thanks Hal. Yes I know the EVIC has it but I have to cycle through several screens to see it. I'm partial to the old school gauges and like the look of them on a pillar setup. I'm pefectly fine with a couple simple gauges. I just need to know what I'm getting into installing them.

I installed an Autometer oil pressure and voltgauge in my '09 RT. You'll have to tee since the resistance of the factory sending unit will not match the after market gauge. I teed off the sending unit that displays the red warning light. It's a good idea to keep the red warning light sending unit intact since your eye picks up a red warning light faster than a gauge. You'll have to remove the alternator to get at the sending unit.
