Going through the trunk makes power cord routing a challenge. From a functional standpoint connecting under the hood is just as good. After all those are the jump starting points.Just asking because I just don't know but wouldn't it be better to hook it to the battery in the trunk or does it really matter??
The cap lifts up giving access to a threaded stud with a 13mm nut. Just unscrew the nut and install the positive lead from the tenderHow did you hook up under the + without undoing the cable
Exactly. As mentioned previously, CTEK has an attachment that installs discretely into a trunk panel or wherever you want that allows for a quick plug/unplug.No problem connecting to the battery in the trunk at all. Open the trunk, connect, close the trunk.
