If you're attending Mopars at the Strip (MATS) in Las Vegas, April 11-13, you'll have an opportunity to see the 1966 Dodge HEMI® Coronet that Tom Hoover owned and street raced in Detroit in the late 1960s. This car was used as a mule for improvements on the 426 HEMI engine.

As many of you may know, Hoover was a member of the legendary Dodge Ramchargers drag racing team and the Chrysler engineer considered the father of the HEMI engine.

This has to be one of the coolest Mopar® muscle cars of all time! It is one of the specialty vehicles that is going to be displayed at MATS as part of the 50th anniversary of the 426 HEMI.

Personally, I can't wait to get to Vegas! :bigthumb:

Very nice! Who would ever think that car could haul booty! I bet a bunch of young kids walk by it not knowing what that car really is.
