No the sales banks are not open. However after much thought I called my dealer. He said, 500.00 to put order in but no guarantee you 'll get car. Yep..MSRP.

They may not be limiting production to a set number but they very well might be limited by capacity and part supply.

What they told us on July 16th was this: their bean counters crunched the numbers, and they came up "around 3000 cars" is what they expect to sell. If they sell ,say, 4000, they will build that many. It will be totally based on customer demand.

I personally believe what you have stated, but don't quote TK. He is no longer a reliable and credible source. Order banks didn't open in August like he said, and he never bothered to retract or correct or explain or appologise. Use other people and quotes from now on.

One thing I learned is to not trust dealerships and car salespeople. They will lie to your face and tell you they never said that. Good luck to the OP in getting a HC for MSRP. I hope it works out for you, but until you have it in writing, don't believe it.
