Can you also describe what you are seeing. ....Im looking at the pic on my phone and Im not sure what you mean. Is it the area behind the front wheel and just above the rocker panel that looks dirty? ....or are you talking about the vertical distortion in the passenger door?
Paint Damage
I thought I had all this buffed out but now it has come back. It's right behind the front tire. I don't know if I should have a body shop fix it or not because I hate having work done on my car that doesn't have to be done. I don't know if anybody else notices it or if I just do because that's where my eyes go as soon as I look at my car.

Its the part that looks dirty. Its not dirt though trust me it won't come off. Yeah I noticed mine the day before I put my mud flaps on.I have the same car and I have that to. But I think It was from before

Me too. It's small chips in the paint.
Black is a great color but it shows every tiny imperfection. If the car is a driver, I would leave them alone as these are hardly noticeable and, unfortunately, there are plenty more where those came from. When it gets bad, then think about a professional fix...
That's what I was thinking too considering I'm probably the only person that notices them. I was feeling a little down about them until I drove through town after I posted this thread today and almost everybody was staring then I thought well they must not be too bad lol. I haven't used this product but have heard it does a nice job.

I used some 3M rubbing compound then followed it up with meguairs ultimate compound. The damage was there before I installed the mudflaps.What did you use to "buff" them out (what product(s)/tool(s)). I might write them off as chips as well but the fact that the area was improved after your "buffing" has me wondering. Without seeing the area up close, I couldn't really tell you though.

This has me thinking about trying to put some of that 3m clear shield in that area on my car.
If you cleaned it, buffed it out and the blemishes have returned then your polishing product has fillers in the formula. It is only masking the problem you see and will always return. Otherwise your ride looks mighty fine to me.
