Hi newbie here (just got my challenger this weekend), so be nice!

I am looking to have a Passport 9500ci radar detector installed in my SRT8. My question is about putting the display in the empty tab, right next to the Homelink in the overhead console.

Does anyone know if there is anything behind that tab, that would prevent me from having the display unit installed in that spot?

Have others found better places to install the display unit on the 9500ci?

I use the blendmount for mine 8500ix with the wiretap in the mirror. Not sure if there's a difference in models or not.

Works well and out of the way everything....
