Looking at doing performance head for the 3.6 Penastar engine.

Starting to search out part numbers and found that the heads have changed 3 times from 2011 to 2014.

If you anyone has seen any articles or information documenting these changes it would be much appreciated if you could post.

Like to think we could get this done with one head core not 3.

In 2014 the head no longer is a superseded part number

It is 2014 only

Any idea why?
All the 2014 vehicles using a 3.6 have the updated head to prevent misfires.
Problem was customers who did not let there vehicles warm before highway drive would burn the exhaust valves, and seats. Causing as much as 80% cylinder leak. All 2014 3.6's have been cured. I can't tell you how many 3.6 heads I have done. Have one on a 2012 wrangler to do today. I post pics of the burnt valves for you
I would not do much porting around the exhaust valve, will have the same issue as before.

Is there a way of getting my head replaced under warranty, even if there isn't presently an issue? I hate the idea of burning my exhaust valves...
