I recently bought a 2019 Challenger GT AWD and am looking for ways to increase its horsepower and make it louder/tune it. I love the car but the AWD GT was not my first option. I’m just looking for some guidance on where to go from here and where my money would be best spent.

My suggestion, don't mod it at all so you can maintain your trade in value. Every dollar you spend on that car gets you farther away from your goal.

You are better off trading it in for an R/T or a Scat Pack.

Mods for HP are not cheap.

The V6's are more limited to what can be cost effectively done. The factory gets the best out of these, right from the start. Dang good engines.

Agree with above posters. Enjoy the heck out of it, and keep the dream closer.

To get to 415 HP, your choices would be a supercharger or turbos. The current bolt on choice becomes a RIPP Supercharger or a Sprintex. RIPP is more common than Sprintex, and generally more HP. But along with voiding your warranty on the driveline at least, you're talking $6,000 + installation + any custom dyno tuning costs. It will also require running 91 - 93 octane gas. It's certainly doable, and is considered a bolt on

But like it's Hemi brethren, there is no cheap HP to be found

If having more power is the goal, and having chosen the V6, the path is not easy, and there will still be many cars faster and more powerful than you. I enjoy my V6, and would have gotten a V8 at least if I wanted more power. Sound is also a major issue, the V6 sound and accompanying blow off whoosh is not close to the awesome V8 sound IMHO

Ok, thanks
seriously, Oregon
Ok, thanks
Yeah, OregonScat has good advice. Truthfully, chasing hp is an endless chase. You car is at 305, that's good enough. If you want serious power, go for a V8; then if that's not enough, then supercharge it. But again, the warning, trade-ins!!! I have a SP that I supercharged to 707hp crank, and did a bunch of other mods. All said and done, the 30k I put into the car I will not likely get back, unless I find a challenger enthusiast, and that's a big maybe. I'm not selling, but something I keep in mind. Any mods put into any car will not likely see a return. Hold onto your 2019; monitor the market for both used and new. When it looks like the market will give you a good trade-in value, and you can get new at decent price, then do it. It's a balancing act, as both markets have an inverse relationship.

With a 2019 and Warranty id not do HP mods and the 3.6 has very little mods you can do for HP based on Performance Parts made for them. The AWD Transfercase will drop some Wheel HP that is a given. The Cost and mods cost big $$$ for so little gains trade up to a Jeep if you want AWD and Power or if just HP go for a Hemi Challenger.
