Kinda new here and to Challengers in general. Tried googling but it gave me an overwhelming amount of things, as a lot of them did not look quality at all.

I was curious what some of the more "Go to" places/sites are for quality/custom shift knobs? Probably factory replacements to start. I'm not looking for anything crazy really, probably black que-ball like but with blue numbering and lines between them on it and perhaps a bit shorter than stock.

Thanks!

Bought my shifter from here (a lot to chose from):

I also have a barton shift assembly but I opted for the OEM set-up and use this shift shaft:

This is what my setup looks like

Awesome! Thanks for all the info! That short shift rod seems kinda pricey for what it is, unless that includes a knob too, then I guess that’s not bad compared to knob prices. I’ll have to sift thru that site for what I’m thinking of. Since my RT is Indigo Blue with black interior I’m think something subtle like black ball with dark blue shift pattern, etched or not.

Speed Dawg is solid. I got a 2 ball that matches pretty close to the 2015 jazz blue color. They drilled the hole in it, mounted the screw on bracket into it, and also suggested and sold me the mod part I needed to get it to seamlessly mount onto the Challenger shifter post.

Basically find the knob you want on their site, then send them an email asking what other parts they suggest to get it to fit nicely onto the model of car you have. They'll send everything you need besides the wrenches to take the original knob off.

$45 for a turned piece of aluminum is on the high side but the only alternative is the Mopar short shifter (comes with an aluminum knob) which runs ~$130. Lou's shifter shaft is even shorter than the one offered by Mopar.
