Hi Ya'll...my little "CHEKM8" has been sitting for about 4 months going on 5 . Is there anything special I should do or not do when I go to start her up?
The battery is fully charged.

After only 4-5 months, you should be fine, assuming your battery is okay. Did you have it on a battery tender?

For longer periods of storage, I would use fuel stabilizer and then, when I was ready to start it, I would pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it over a few times to get the engine parts lubricated.

Might want to idle a bit with the A/C on also rather than kicking the compressor in for the first time at high rpms.

winter

Yeah, just wishful thinking..hope to see a few days of moderate temps so I could at least take her outside and fire her up...it has been so long!

What is the deal about the A/C on..?

From the owners manual. States before storage but can't hurt on startup after storage either:

Anytime you store your vehicle, or keep it out of
service (i.e., vacation) for two weeks or more, run the
air conditioning system at idle for about five minutes
in the fresh air and high blower setting. This will
ensure adequate system lubrication to minimize the
possibility of compressor damage when the system is
started again.
