I know there is no Predator for the 2011 models, but for those of you that have it on your cars; after installing the Predator tune, do any of you kept the MDS on? Is it necessary to turn it off in order for the tune to work? Does it limits the performance at all? Thanks.

Mine seems to surge a lot when I leave the MDS on.

I just turned mine off, after the resonator delete.Mds at low speeds was sort of irritating, we'll see if it effects economy. You see I have this lead foot and I use auto-stick almost exclusively. Can get it into 5th at 40 mph,at cruise it,s extremely quiet in the 2000 to 2200 range. But you can hear me a mile away when I stomp on it .

Hmmmm Don't know.
I've only used the auto stick a couple of times.
Gonna have to check that out.
When in autostick as in manual shift, MDS disables. When I had my R/T and did upgrades in the exhaust, intake and tune, I turned it off because of the surging and the throttle lag when trying to get on it.

I turned it off, prefer driving it that way and haven't noticed any big loss in gas mileage.

How would MDS surge in autostick mode?

I disabled MDS with my Predator. A cat-back exhaust sounds terrible when it kicks in at low speeds.
I read his statement to say his car surges. That's why i was asking about in auto stick to see if it was the MDS causeing it because the MDS is off in auto stick and he could have something else causeing the surge.

I had my AC take a crap and assumed I needed to take it in, so put the stock tune back in. AC started working , so I took it in anyway. Service advisor said we cant fix some thing that aint broke.I had disabled MDS with my 93cai tune, left it on when I reinstalled the performance tune.Did you know you can cruise 88mph on eco on, maybe more, I slowed due to traffic conditions.

He was saying his engine surges when the MDS is enabled with a Predator tune installed. This is typical on a few cars. Btw, Diablo will write you a custom tune to smooth out the MDS surging issue.
