I've very new to logging and reading parameters but I believe KNK ST Retard is a bad thing?? I've got it around 3800 rpm. Any idea's how to get rid of it, or should i even be worried?? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, yea I only use the 93 Octane gas in my baby. I know it's crazy expensive at over 4$ a gallon but she's worth it. The car drives much stronger than before the 93 Predator tune so I'm wondering if it's false knock.... Maybe a custom tune is in order?? Better get my CAI first. :bigthumb:

Not to worry, is it at WOT when you see timing pulled. Or is it when or if you lug the motor in too high a gear. You 6 spd or auto. ? If you seeing a deg or two STKNK briefly see where in the log its happening, what was the throttle position, did you have any LTKNK thats the one to be really worried about.
Dont forget Hal is supposed to pull timing when needed, that is what its for.
See what rpm range it is happening, add 2 or 3% fuel there.
Send a log to my e mail, ill look at it. [email protected]

That looks like a part throttle snapshot. (%43 throttle) If it is, you will get part throttle ST knock on the stock tune or any tune. There is no way around it. I got part throttle ST knock on my SRT Charger when it was bone stock on 93oct fuel. I get part throttle ST knock on my bone stock R/T Challenger now with 93oct fuel. All on the stock tune.

I get it on my logs too. Full throttle, 93 cai tune. Arh headers with hi flow cats, 5% added fuel down low, 6% fuel added up higher. It happens right after my shifts. I hold the throttle open throughout the run.

I have logged my far and I am in the 12 range.

Maybe I'll try the 91 cai tune. Or the regular 93

Thanks for all the replies! Yea I'm in a 6spd, and i didn't notice any LTKNK during the log but may have missed it. I really have no idea what I'm looking at. I really wanted to just post this snapshot up and see if anyone told me to stop driving it and have a mechanic come to my house to fix it. :scratchhead: I'll shoot you my log and if you have any spare time take a gander at it, no hurry and only if you get a chance. I'll keep an eye on it and run another log tomorrow morning on my way to work to compare the two. Thanks again for the replies.
