hey guys i know the exhaust questions have been asked 1000 times, and i also know everyone has different taste. I want an exhaust that turns heads but isnt too loud inside the car, like everyone else on here lol. The Pypes Violator and Solo Performance are the best 2 that i have heard as far as raw V8 sound. Your thoughts on both? we are talking a 300$ difference, i know the Solo is probably made a little better, and better quality, so that is why its $300 more. but vacation is coming up, im tryin to save $$$ lo. so give me the good and bad of each if possible. to my ears, both sound about the same. i was just a little afraid the Pypes might be just too raw and obnoxious.

Thanks for your interest in our exhaust kits. I will help as best as possible. Both the automatic R/T kit with J pipes, and the 6 speed kit without J pipes will fit your 6 speed. The kit without the J pipes is a bit more aggressive, and the kit with the J pipes is more sound on demand....quiet when cruising, and mean when you get on it. The J pipes are tunable if you ever mod the car more aggressively down the road. The kit with the J pipes has no drone whatsoever, and the kit without J pipes still has no drone, but you will hear it more inside the car. It's best to go with the kit that will suit your needs. If you decide to go with us, or have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at 516-655-9002 7 days a week until midnight EST. Thanks and I hope this is helpful to you:)

I have the violators on my srt8 six speed, as far as being loud and obnoxious, they are not. They have a nice volume and rumble to them but in my opinion i wish they were louder. I don't notice any drone but everyone's ear is different. Now, fitment on my set wasn't perfect, I had to relocate the rear hangers on driver side to make them line up. Even with that problem, i love the way they sound and don't plan on changing them out. Hope this was of help to you.
