Got the Charger intake tube with a AEM filter. Do I have to disconnect the battery in order to install this tube?
Don't want to mess up anything. I've heard that you do this when you install a cold air intake, was wondering if you needed to do the same for this tube. Thanks in advance for any input provided.

No, you dont need to disconnect but doing so resets the adaptives which sometimes results in improved performance...this is what makes some think they gained something...your PCM will adapt to the new filter in seconds regardless...

battery disconnect

no need to disconnect battery....just be careful with IAT sensor....if its not plugged in right you will get a light on the dashboard. plus the little sensor is very fragile
