I notice on the right hand side of any thread, lets say my thread within a post, there is a column of items;

I went into my User CP and scrolled down to Networking and clicked on Pictures & Albums and installed 3 pics there. But when I'm viewing a thread I've made and look at Photos over on the right there is a "0". How do you insert pics into this particular location?

Yep, like I said above I got it figured out. Just had top take my time and after clicking on Photos: on the upper right of one of my threads, I just followed it and figured it out. May be old and slow but Got er Done.
