Question? How many cans of 1234yf Freon will it take to put in for it to blow cold? It’s a 2015 Challenger V6.

You need to actually weigh it. Also you need to know a little about ac system. Over charge it and you get hot air. If youve got a leak, then you need to fix it first and not with leak sealer. That stuff is crap.
Why do you need freon? Wreck? Change something? All of these are important because theres oil that needs to be in the system also.
Ive got a lot of experience with ac systems. What gauges you got? Have vac pump?

All of that was done. Just put one can of Freon in it and it still ain’t blow cold air. So got another can,put it in and it still didn’t blow cold. Have the oil but it’s the kind that you pore in it. Question is that the right one?

Pour in oil is fine, but it needed to go in before the vacuum was performed. So now youve been running the car with low oil in the system. It needs to be on a recovery machine to pull everything out then start with the oil, then vacuum then freon.there should be a tag that states how much freon is needed. Its done by weight.

There should be a tag under the hood stating how much Freon.

Yes thats the right oil. But when did you put it in and how much did you add? Why is the ac low to begin with? Was system vacuumed? Was it on a recovery machine? Were going to need a little more info before anyone can help you to do it correctly.

Compressor went out. Got it changed, but guy didn’t put oil in it cause he said it needed the same type oil that go in like the Freon. So as you see I still have a whole bottle of compressor oil. Put two cans of Freon but no oil.

Thats not good. You just wasted your $$, sorry. Did clutch go out or the compressor? Oil needs to go in first.
Again, was it on a recovery machine?

Ok. So if clutch was out that means you didnt get metal into the system. Thats good. Still need to know if it was on a recovery machine or not. This will give an idea/ballpark of how much oil was pulled out of the system during recovery.
