Here is a scan of my dyno sheets. I had James Henson of Henson Performance out of Hueytown, Al tune it. Man Its hard to believe what they can get a small block to do these days, who would have thought 10 years ago we would have cars like we have today. I have very few mods and I think James did a good job in tuning the car. The torque was unexpected I was thinking it would maybe be in the 385rwtq range but not 397. If anyone on here from bama and you are wanting your car tuned he does top notch tuning. He put together my heads and cammed 4.6 2v 04 mustang gt and tuned it. I aint trying to throw a sales pitch for him lol, im just stating my testimony ha ha.

Impressive numbers to say the least. Especially with the simple list of mods you have. I know you're grin is from ear-to-ear. And, rightly so.

What's next on the mod list agenda?

How is the drivability? Are gains all over the rpm band or just top end?

Yeah it gained across the board, almost from the beginning of the pull it laid down no less than 350rwtq. The drivability is unchanged, the A/F is nice and flat and stable, just mo par. I would like to do long tubes but $1000 is way to much. I thought it was highway robbery for the $500 bbks on a 2v mustang I had. I want to be in the 375-385rwhp range and break 400rwtq, but for the mods I am willing to do nothing is cheap. So am about at the end of my rope on performance mods. Not unless they drop the price $500 on the headers and I have actual proof a TB shows gains.

19.5 rwhp and 25rwtq

All that from a catback and drop in filter those are nice numbers. I may have to swing by there see what he can do for me as i have similar mods as well as shorty headers and highflow cats, be exciting too see what kinda #'s i'll gain. Thanks for sharing. :bigthumb:

I gotta ask how much did the tuning session cost? I really like the look of the air fuel before and after the tuning and the torque gains on your sheet are very nice! They certainly make me want to get on the ball and get my catless mids so I can make a run to a tune shop to get it dialed in.

I paid $465 out the door including tax and purchasing the predator. If I am not mistaken James will do the tune for free as long as you are purchasing a programmer or chip from him. You just pay the dyno fees and whatever tuning device you may want. That is if you are naturally aspirated, he will charge you for a tune if you are running a power adder due to a little more variables in tuning and the liability. I didnt pay attention to the break-down on the receipt I know a predator runs about $275-300 bucks at most places. Heck some places will charge you $465 just to tune it. Guy does good work, he has already gotten some 2011 5.0s to the 400rwhp range with minimal mods and tune. There isnt a whole lot you can do to get those kinda power gains for the money except nitrous. Headers alone wont get those gains per dollar or catback. But then again if you do em all then it will shine lol.
