I really like my stock rims on the R/T Classic, but I would like to go wider in the back. How much wider can I go? Currently running 245/40/r20's all the way around.:scratchhead:

seeing as your classic rim is 8.5" wide you are limited a 255/40/20 would be fine but a 275/40/20 would look great but your below the wheel width spec. somebody has had to try the 275 on the classic wheels....

Thanks for the info.

I would think 275 would bulge, hopefully someone can answer.

Ive been running Toyo Proxie4s 255/45/20 rear, 245/45/20 fronts staggered( no rotation), 30 months, 10K miles no problems! 275 will clear on rears I think, but are wide for these wheels tho.

Looking forward to more replies, thanks guys!! I'm getting some extra cash from profit sharing at work and want to make a good buy. I do like the chrome Boss 338's, but I'd hate to have to purchase a whole new set of 4 rims.... Ya do what ya gotta do....:browsmiley:
