Hey guys, the tread on my rt classic are almost done for. I'm looking into what I want and I've decided to go on a staggered set-up. I have the stock 20 inch wheels and was hoping people with the same can show me what ya got or what ya like. It's a daily so they will have to be all weather tires. I'm looking at 245/40/20 in the front, and 275/45/20 in the rear. Is this smart? I'm open for all advice, thanks guys.

If you want the same OD, you want 245/45 and 275/40.

Which wheels do you have? You'll need 9" wide for 275's. I suspect you have 20x8's

A yes, I have been reading into it more and the size is only 8. I thought it was 9. I'm guessing that means the highest I can go is 255?

255 is the widest recommended for an 8" wheel, yes. It will only net you a .4" width difference.

I went with new rims and went 10.5" rims on the rear and 9" rims on the front. I run 315/35 r20 rear and 245/45 r20 front. Works and looks great.

Thanks for all the info guys, really appreciate it. I'll send some pics once I see what wheels I end up going with.

My 14 RT. 245 on the front, 275 on the back. Been running for about a year and a half, I don't do any track but I do the mountain roads up to big bear at about 70% with no problems. Feels solid.

Not as dramatic as I thought it would be but I like it.

Is the 275 on a 8" wheel?
