Hello all. Just bought a 2013 Rallye Redline in awesome shape. Just noticed one of the thin red racing stripes on the front cowl has started to come unadhered for abut an inch or so (starting in the crack between the hood and the back of the cowl). The vinyl is still in perfect shape so I know it can likely be re-adhered. What would be the safest method of re-adhering it without hurting the paint and making sure it doesnt come back up.

I know this is a very nit-picky problem, but the rest of the striping looks perfect, so I really would like to not screw this up. Thanks all.

So just clean the hood really good and apply a thin line of clear nail polish to the underside of the vinyl, then press down and smooth out? Or (probably a stupid statement) does the nail polish go on top?
Not sure I understood what to do either, how did this work out?

The nail polish will go underneath as a glue. You will want to be very stingy with the polish so that it doesn't squeegee out when you smooth out the vinyl.
