I bough a used RHB radio and need some help getting a security code. I have used Navrepair.com in the past and they have been great. I submitted the info to them 4 days ago and still haven't received the code. I really want to get the radio installed!

If you have the vin number of the car it came out of, and the serial number off the radio, you might try calling a couple dealers in the morning. They gave me a code over the phone a couple years ago.

I looked into this a bit awhile back when I was looking to upgrade. They want you to have the car in your possession, so if you don't have the VIN of the car it came from, the dealer may not give you the code. May have to go to a dealer and prove the radio isn't stolen if you can't get the VIN.

I had the dealer get me the security code for the rbz i bought after I lost the code originally. I just gave them the serial number of the new radio and they looked it up in the star scan or whatever the software program they use is called. It was done in less than 5 minutes and at no cost. Try talking to one of the mechanics on the side.

I took out my radio and when it was reinstalled, I needed the code again and as I never had the code, I had to take the car and the radio to the dealer, they ran the radio ser number and the car vin number then gave me the code. Your best bet may be OEM auto parts.

I took out my 130 RES and installed a 430 RBZ last night. Went to the dealer today with the serial number and VIN of the challenger I got the RBZ from and they looked up the anti-theft code in just a couple minutes. They printed the page that had the code for me and the address shows they were on spsdealerconnect.chrysler.com. Sirius didn't have a problem transferring my subscription either.

Thanks all. The dealer was able to look it up for me. They just wanted me to do it in person instead of over the phone. I guess there are quite a few stolen radios out there and they have to cover themselves.
