I recently procured a pair of take-off Challenger script fender badges for a great price. In preparation for my exterior transformation I would like to use these and need to know what the best method is for re-applying the adhesive to the backs of these. They still have a thin layer of the old black foam adhesive so I'm assuming I should find some way to remove that. Any suggestions for this little project would be great! :)

Go to your local auto body/paint supply place and get some 3M trim/emblem tape.

Once you have it stuck to the emblems, you would need to trim the excess with an Xacto knife or similar.

I guess you could also go the route of using 3M trim adhesive in a tube but that might be easier or more difficult depending on the emblem design.

As for the old tape, roll it off with your finger(nails) or maybe try some 3M adhesive remover in the red can.

(Get the feeling I'm a fan of 3M stuff?)

They sell trim adhesive tape at discount auto parts, in two different widths that will work great. but you'll have to trim the excess off between the letters.
