The other day I was following my wife home in her Jeep and she said that my Challenger’s driver’s side headlamp is way brighter than the passenger side. I’ve looked at it myself but it was kind of hard to tell. However, I have noticed what appears to be a high brightness when looking at the reflection off of the back of some trucks and recently some store windows when I’ve parked in front. I’m convinced the driver’s side headlamp is projecting much brighter than the passenger. I don’t think the passenger side is weaker, but either way, I’m taking it to the dealer for inspection. Has anyone had any experience with this issue? I want to kind of have an idea of what I might hear from the dealership.

Did you buy the car new? The headlight could be aimed high (not adjusted correctly). I have also seen this when bulbs are not installed correctly.

I did buy it new. Had it about 15 months now. I’ll maybe take a look at that and maybe save me a trip to the dealership. Thanks.

Hi PowerSlave,

If you end up deciding to visit your local dealership for further diagnosis I'd be happy to offer assistance if needed. Just send us a PM with your VIN and let me know!
