I really like this. It makes the tail lights look thin and much more aggressive. It's the reverse of what SMS and a few here do to the tail lights.
I pulled this photo from a German car show and I hope it was not a custom one off. Can this be purchased? Thanks in advance.

Looks like they took off the tail lights and flat black painted them around the edges - does look good, but now the car has no reflectors on the rear end... could be a inspection issue depending where you live.

That's something different. It looks good. It's hard to tell in the picture if it's painted or black trim covers. My guess is they taped it off and painted it. You can buy the chrome self stick pieces that go around the very outside edge of the lights. they don't make them in black but you could paint them. I think SS inserts have them. I went with the center insert on my RT Classic. It goes well with the rest of the chrome trim like the wheels and the fuel cap on a black car.
