Hey guys, pardon me if this is a dumb question but exactly how do you get to the airbag to remove it in order to remove the steering wheel badge? I guess I incorrectly assumed I could just pry it off like the nose badge and fuel door badge. If I disconnect the battery first, I can't just pry it off? Seemed like such a simple mod, but...? Thanks!

HEMI2NV, I want to purchase this emblem still but just waiting for a few detailed pics of it removed ,thanks again,Lt.R.D.S.-P.P.Dept.

hey man, i had to work and then had family stuff the last day or so...but i also had 2 people offer the $20 i was asking. i know you were worried about the adhesive so maybe you can contact Nate @ ReBadge to get a custom one done for you? it will cost a little more (like $25 or $30) but will be brand new.

not a dumb question. i was in the same boat. there are 2 bolts on the bag of the steering wheel. they are a metric size 10. remove those and the assembly slides towards you. i didnt disconnect anything other than the battery in the trunk. you can pry it off but i was afraid of applying too much force to the airbag. if you are careful you can pry it off but it is held on by 3 pins that will break and fall out the back of the steering wheel

This is correct. It has also been said that the clips that break off can cause damage to the circuitry inside the steering wheel over time as the wheel is turned and the pieces are floating around. One individual even had an issue with piece getting caught where the horn is and they couldn't use their horn anymore until they took it apart.
