Check your hood switch. If the hood switch is busted, the PCM could think the hood is up and that will disable the remote start. Check for trouble codes too as there are some trouble codes that disable remote start.

Do you know how to use the key FOB as a key and check for trouble codes? As long as a trouble code can be read in memory, the remote start will not work.
