Ever since I removed my mufflers so it could sound better. When I floor the gas I don't get the same response. It doesn't throw me back to my seat like it used too ? Did I loose some torque? Im thinking about just putting my mufflers back to regain what I lost :(

Free flowing exhaust moves the power band upward. You'll be able to see gains in the upper rpm band at the expense of low end torque. That's true of any exhaust mod that increases flow rate. Backpressure gives you scavenging torque in the 1k-2k range. In the case of a straight pipe you'll be seeing one of the extremes of this free flowing exhaust. Electric cutouts are even worse down low.

The fuse trick can't hurt though. The car is used to backpressure so relearning from scratch shouldn't hurt.

I had the same issue when I put in my zoomers. Did a fuse pull when I got home. Car was pulling like normal again. Only this time she sounded wicked.
