Did you do the install yourself? Did you change out the speakers as well? Was it difficult to add the backup camera?

I had this stereo installed in my 2012 RT and there is no comparison. Unbelievable sound and iPhone compatibly--oh and yes I added a back-up camera to the stereo. Incredible upgrade; I only wish I did it years ago.

Were you able to retain your steering wheel controls? If so, did you have to buy a separate adapter to make it all work properly?

The nav from the iPhone is used on screen through car play. I had he install done and yes the steering controls work. There are adapters and cables to buy but the radio fit perfectly. The back up camera is an option for that stereo. The Sirius Xm adapter sounds much better than the factory stereo (cheapest version). I think it has more power so it sounds better. Kept the same speakers. Worth every penny. Also had hdmi cables installed for video

The above link shows some of the radio features in the 8 minute video

Does the nav only work from the phone if you use apple maps? I have verizon and use the VZ Navigator app to find my way around. Will third party nav apps work on screen?

Purchased the 7000NEX

Bought the 7000NEX earlier this year for my car and it's by far the best purchase I've made for my vehicle. Glad you're enjoying your unit.

Pioneer SPH-DA120

Did the install on my 2014 RT. Had the stock no frills radio. This works much better. Maestro is the harness addition that not only retains the steering wheel controls but gives freedom to program them anyway you like. One downfall, on mine anyway the phone button on the steering wheel is now a mute button, also, siri works.

Throw some better speakers in the dash, it is worth the time and ~$100+ labor to do it.

The JL Audio TR350-CXi work great!

I did, too, and also had jl audio 360/4 amp to power jl audio components and 6x9s in the back - and jl audio mono amp to power a sub; also had Dynamat sound insulation mounted in the doors, Viper SmartStart remote start and LED lights in wheels and headlights installed- sounds and looks amazing, or did I should say...I was getting some alternator whine, so took it back to installer and they put ground loop isolator in patch cables running from the amps; that helped, but it didn't get rid of it altogether, plus I thought it dulled the fidelity, too, though maybe that was all in my head...at any rate, I found better grounds for the amps and pulled the deck from the dash to check the HU ground and had found some information that suggested Pioneer pre-amp outputs often times need grounded themselves. There are A LOT of wires back there! It was intimidating, so I essentially just put everything back like I found it. Or so I thought - now I'm getting INSANE static and interference. That's just with accessory on, too; starting the engine made the whistling and sh*t unbearable. So I pulled it again to check everything a second time, then a third and fourth, etc. Haven't driven the car for weeks because I can't figure this out! I know my grounds are good - a foot long, bolted to the chassis, which I scraped down to the metal. Anybody know what I've done - or failed to do? It isn't EMI inside the dash b/c it's there when the stereo is powered and sitting outside the dash; checked output inductor behind the glove box and nothing changed when I pulled it outside, away from the other possible EMI sources. RCAs are no where close to the power lines, either. I'm sure I'll end up taking it back to installer, but they're two hours away, which makes it less than convenient. Anybody have a suggestion?
I just tonight joined the Forum - if this type of post should be placed elsewhere, let me know. Thanks.

I have the same deck that I got installed. I'm unfortunatly selling the car and want to take the amp subs and deck out before hand and I'm having issues returning the old stock deck. It'll just stick on clock and wont power on fully, any ideas? They said they had to disable/bypass the stock amp, would that have anything to do with it?

Different Approach

I took a different approach to upgrading the sound in my 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T. Kept low-end head unit (the 130S/RES). Replaced factory speakers with JL Audio speakers all around. Replaced the amp with a JL Audio amp (900/5) [100 W x 4 + 500 W x1]. Finally added a JL Audio SB-D-CHLGR/12W3v3: Stealthbox subwoofer. Like night and day. No risk of losing o compromising the steering controls or UCONNECT. Very happy camper!
