Well I live in a state where it's little to no cost to replace a windshield. I have a crack in mine, and wanted to replace it.
Do you think they will replace it with a OEM one?
Do they have several ones for me to pick from?
I was hoping to get one with a little tint one it, or atleast have the black trim go around the sides like the one I currently have.

I know this all depends on to where I go, but was just curious if anyone has any expertise on this subject.

oh, happy challenger friday.

I had Safelite Auto replace my windshield after I caught a chunk of rock with it. They have replacement glass that matches oem. Dunno about the tint.

Easy process though...out with the old, in with the new...good to go.

I had to have the windshield replaced in our Jeep with 125 miles on it... :(

Make sure they use OEM glass, it costs more so a lot of places don't use it. Watch the guys as they set up to start removing the old glass, they should tape around anywhere they might touch with their tools to avoid scratching the paint.

If you don't get OEM glass make sure the seal around the windshield is made good. On the one they put in mine the seams looked bad and they are going to replace it with OEM. Not before alot of complaining and when my insurance agent got envolved they decided they wanted to replace it right.
