I have a 2015 R/T Plus A8 and was wondering, what exactly does the adaptive fuse do besides allowing driving habits to be stored? Would it be effective to remove the fuse and leave it out? Would this cause any issues? Seems if all it does is allow power to the "memory" when the car is off, it should not hurt anything to permanently remove this fuse. Every time you shut the car off it's adaptives should clear. Would this cause any problems with the car?
Thanks in advance...

If you get an upgraded pcm like the stage 1 scat pack does it still need to be cleared once in awhile?
I have a Scat 1 PCM and I reset it from time to time, if it starts shifting lazily or get jerky 2-1 shifts when braking. If I ever drive normal I get these issues but I am usually "on it" most of the time.

Which fuse is it in the 2015 to reset? Last I read, which was a while ago, no one was quite sure.

29 and 31.

One is the engine and the other is the transmission.

I should do it too, hate the jerky stop>go in the morning.
