Look into Fastman TB's. You can send him your stock TB and he will port it for you. Supposedly better than aftermarket TB's and a lot cheaper. Install is fairly simple, just removing the intake tube and he 4 bolts from the TB.

I sent mine to Fastman last year to get the standard front only mod done on mine. It was only a week turn around to get it back. If you can not have your car down that long, call him and have him send you one that is already modified. I have not had any problems with it. It is a real easy swap, remove the intake tube, unplug the connector then remove four bolts. But be careful putting the bolts back in because they screw into plastic.
This modification to TB plays real nice with a tune. I would do both because it will really wakes up your car.

The stock 80MM body has plenty of flow for the 5.7.

I know i'm alittle late but thanks. So the fastman basic wont require a tune correct? I understand I'll benefit the most from one however.

Eventually I would like to get a fender pull intake, fastman TB and a Trinity hand held tuner to finish the car off.

You are correct on not needing a tuner when having the TB modified. But your stock intake box is designed very well and it does pull cold air in from behind the grill and flows good. All you need to do is get a intake tube from a new charger, and maybe a different drop in air filter. Then to really wake up the engine, get a custom tune from Johan. The charger intake tube does not have the ugly wart on it, this way you will have room for a catch can.

The 91 tune decreases the torque management by default and the 93 tune decreases even more from what I understand.

I have a 91 tune installed and I noticed a significant decrease in torque management. I am going to get a custom email tune and try to have all of the torque management removed.

You can't decrease the torque management manually as it is not part of the Diablo trinity's user's interface. It has to be done by someone with the CMR software.

I have a custom tune from Johan, and I will say that when you ate on the throttle you will not feel any torque management. The difference it like night and day. The nice about the tune is when you are driving around in town or driving easy, the trans shifts nice and easy. But when you want to have fun, just stand on the throttle.
