I am holding some hope that all of the experienced people on this forum will have an answer. Last weekend I replaced my rear deck speakers with new Kicker Speakers. During the process the middle seat seat belt tighten up and will not loosen again. It's so tight that I have it behind the seat. I know they tighten during an accident to hold you in the seat but the car isn't moving. Any ideas?:werd:

Since it's a safety item and under warranty take it and tell them it needs to be replaced as it's not worth taking chances with.

No I did not take it out. It's not really a safety issue at this moment because nobody sits back there. Just an annoyance with me.

You may have to unbolt it to give it some slack to release the tensioner.
