Getting ready to make a more stealth version of the overhead gauge pod...

Has anyone else made their own pods or had custom pods/mounts made?

I'm mostly interested in stealth mounting.

Do share :)

For reference, this is the design idea I'm working off of:

Wow, thats got to be one of the best threads I've read. Good job, thanks for the write up. Thats more than custom, its personalized.

I went with the speed racer setup with gauges on the pillar. There's a reason for it to be so common, its easy see without taking your eyes off the road.

The only other location I would consider would be a gauge pod up on the dash. Looking up at the headliner or down to the head unit to see values is just not for me. When my shift light comes on its in your face, in addition AFR, IAT and Boost is easy to see without taking your eyes off the road.

Damn... Thats pretty cool. I've been wondering if anyone would rig something up to show gauges on the MyGig. I doubt I'll be replacing my screen and your option is a little extreme for me though lol... Badass though!

I just don't want to broadcast that my car is boosted to every car that drives by me. Specifically the police. Being in CA, my choice of going with the KB and catless mids left my car a bit less than street legal. Don't need to invite the added attention during a traffic stop or whatnot.
